High Thermal Conductivity

Up to 310W/(℃*m), working temperature can be up to 2000℃, also the thermal shock resistance is good.

Good Electric Insulation

Its electrical resistivity is higher than 1014Ω*cm,  breakdown voltage is larger than 20KV/mm, so it has large current carrying capacity.

Low dielectric constant and dielectric loss

This specific property ensure BeO can reduce the energy loss during signal transmission.

Good Erosion Resistance

BeO ceramic can resist erosion of various alkali and molten metals, corrosion resistance and wettability resistance are very good.

1. Semiconductor industry

Beryllium oxide ceramic substrate has the highest thermal conductivity among ceramic substrates, also with good corrosion and high temperature resistance,  it is widely used in semiconductor parts and integrated circuits, including integrated circuit (IC), high frequency radio frequency (RF) devices, high power LED,  piezoelectric components, photoelectric components, sensors, MEMS and other micro electronic devices;

2. Noble metal metallurgy

Beryllium oxide ceramic has high temperature resistance, and good corrosion resistance to molten metals, it can be used to produce crucibles for various noble metal melting, including beryllium, gold, silver, platinum, uranium, etc.

3. Nuclear reactor

Beryllium oxide ceramic has high neutron scattering cross section, and good stability under irradiation, it can be used to produce neutron moderator for nuclear reactors, with stable performance even under high temperature condition.
