Properties of UV Transparent Quartz Plate

 

UV quartz plate has good light transmittance, high temperature resistance, small thermal expansion, good corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and excellent insulation performance.

 

 

1. High temperature resistance

Quartz plate can be used for a long time at 1100℃, and the temperature of short time use can reach 1450℃, also the coefficient of thermal expansion is small, so it can withstand drastic temperature changes.

 

 

2. Good light transmission performance

Quartz plate has good light transmission performance in the whole spectral band from ultraviolet to infrared, visible light transmittance is higher than 93%, and ultraviolet spectral transmittance is higher than 80%.

 

 

3. Good corrosion resistance

In addition to hydrofluoric acid, quartz plate almost does not react with other acids, and can maintain chemical stability at high temperature condition.

1. When using the quartz plate, handle it gently to avoid severe impact or fall, so as to avoid damage.
 
 
2. Shall not exceed the maximum use temperature of the quartz plate, otherwise it will cause crystallization or soften deformation.
 
 
3. Quartz plate for high temperature conditions must be wiped clean before use, fine thread gloves shall be worn during operation and do not touch it directly with hands.
 
 
4. Quartz plate is acidic material, strictly avoid contact with alkaline substances (such as sodium silicate, asbestos, potassium and sodium compounds, etc.) when used at high temperature, otherwise its performance might be influenced.
