Properties of Silicon Nitride Sealing Ring

 

Silicon nitride ceramic has good chemical corrosion resistance, high strength, high hardness, good wear resistance, high temperature resistance, and small thermal expansion coefficient and friction coefficient.

 

1. Good corrosion resistance

The silicon nitride seal ring is resistant to acid, alkali and other chemicals, and can be applied to a variety of corrosive media in the environment;

 

 

2. Good wear resistance

Silicon nitride seal ring material has high hardness, wear resistance is good, and service life is long;

 

 

3. High temperature resistance

1. Select the appropriate silicon nitride seal ring according to the design size and working environment, so as to avoid premature aging of the seal ring and reduce the service life of the seal ring;
 
 
2. Clean the dust and impurities of the silicon nitride seal ring and the mating surface before installation, to ensure the service life of the silicon nitride seal;
 
 
3. Install the sealing ring in the correct direction, so as not to cause poor sealing effect;
 
 
4. The ambient temperature of the silicon nitride seal ring should not exceed the maximum use temperature, if the temperature is too high, it will cause the aging of the seal and reduce the service life of the seal ring.
