Zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic bearing has good wear resistance, non-magnetic, good electrical insulation, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, self-lubrication, high temperature resistance, it can adapt to extreme harsh environment and special conditions that out of steel bearing working capability. With stainless steel cage or full ball, it can be used for high temperature environment higher than 500℃, and with PTFE or PEEK cage can be used for 260℃ temperature environment.

Advantages of Zirconia Ceramic Ball Bearing

 

Zirconia ceramic bearing has the advantages of high hardness, good wear resistance, high temperature resistance and good self-lubrication effect, also with acid & alkali and chemical corrosion resistance, good electrical insulation.

 

1. High temperature resistance

Normal working temperature of full zirconia bearing can reach higher than 500℃, which can meet the high temperature equipment such as furnace, plastic making and steel manufacture;

2. Corrosion resistance

Zirconia material itself has good corrosion resistance, can be in contact with a variety of acids, alkalis, salt water and other chemicals, zirconia bearings can be used in electroplating equipment, electronic equipment, chemical machinery, shipbuilding, medical equipment, etc.;

3. Wear resistance

Zirconia bearing material has high hardness, good wear resistance, so zirconia bearing can work stably with long service life;

4. High strength

Zirconia material has high compressive strength, good toughness, small friction coefficient, light weight, so zirconia bearing can meet the needs of high-speed rotation, the highest speed of 80000 RPM, for the application of high-speed spindle and other high-precision equipment.

Usage Instruction

1. Bearing selection
Zirconia bearing is precision parts, need to choose the appropriate bearings according to the size of the shaft, tolerance and load, to avoid improper fit or overload.
 
2. Bearing installation
When install zirconia ceramic bearing, it is necessary to apply equal pressure on the circumference of the ring end face. In order to load the ring, it is forbidden to hit the bearing end face directly with a hammer, so as not to damage the bearing.
 
3. Matching of bearing and shaft
The fit selection of zirconia ceramic bearing must be selected according to the load direction and load features. For rotating load and indefinite load, the ring should adopt a static fit, and for static load, the combination of excessive fit and dynamic fit can be adopted.
 
4. Bearing lubrication
The zirconia ceramic bearing itself has a certain lubricity, but in order to further increase lubrication and ensure the service life of the bearing under high-speed rotation, an appropriate amount of lubricating oil or grease can be added.
 
5. Bearing maintenance
Regularly check the vibration and noise of zirconia bearing, the temperature of bearing operation and the state of lubricating oil, according to the use of the environment and operating conditions of regular cleaning and maintenance, timely clean off the debris on the bearing.
