Applications

Alumina closed end tube has good thermal conductivity, strong thermal shock resistance, good corrosion and wear resistance, it's widely used in high temperature refractory, chemical industry, metallurgy and other industries. Meanwhile, it has no pollution, non-toxic and harmless, good biological inert characteristics, in the field of medicine and biology also has important applications.

1. Aluminum oxide head tube can be used as a protective tube of thermocouple, used to protect the temperature measuring element, isolate the temperature measuring element from the outside world, reduce or prevent the element from being corroded, oxidized or damaged by external substances during use, suitable for air, water vapor, hydrogen, argon, carbon monoxide and vacuum medium temperature measurement of 600~1700°C;

2. It can be used as a heater shell to effectively protect the heating element and internal structure of the electric furnace from being eroded by high temperature gases and chemical reactants;

3. It can be used to make experimental equipment, such as test tubes, biological culture tubes, etc., for medical and chemical experiments.

Usage Instructions

1. When used as a thermocouple protective sleeve, the temperature measuring element is installed in the protective tube, and then the open end and the uniform head are sealed with high temperature glue. When measuring temperature, slowly insert the closed end into the temperature measuring area.
 
2. When condition permits, regular cleaning is helpful to keep the ceramic tube performance and extend service life.
